Understanding how learning works is foundational. Many theories and practices have been developed and adopted because there isn’t a one-size-fits-all explanation. Students, teachers and contexts are unique; thus, it is critical to have a broad and comparative understanding of different perspectives and to assess your own beliefs and practices in order to create meaningful learning experiences.
